It is important to find the right Contractor for your construction needs.  Finding a Contractor who will be honest, responsible, accountable, and able to perform the Scope of Work is not an easy task.  Interviewing the Contractor is a great way to find out if the Contractor is the right fit for you.

Make sure you hire a qualified Licensed, Bonded, and Insured Contractor for your needs.  You can check on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website to verify that you have selected a Contractor in good standing.

Hiring a professional may seem elaborate and/or expensive, even for a small project; however, nine times out of ten, you will find that this is not the case.  In Mexico there is a saying, “Lo barato es caro”, which translates as, “What is cheap is expensive”.  By cutting corners or using unlicensed contractors, homeowners can find themselves in a mess.  The lack of responsibility and insurance that comes with unlicensed contractors can turn into lawsuits, unfinished projects, and the loss of time and money.  No one ever goes into a construction project thinking that it will turn into a nightmare, but buyer beware.
